Welded fabrication in Ankara: chassis, structures and trailers
At our factory in İvedik OSB, our welding, assembly and fitting team produces steel structures, machine chassis, trailers and tank bodies; surfaces that need machining after welding are finished on our own CNC machines.
Welding, machining and assembly under one roof
The biggest time-waster in welded fabrication is having the welding done in one place, the machining in another and the assembly in a third. In our factory these three steps sit side by side: the welded body leaves the welding station, is checked for distortion, has its bearing and mounting surfaces machined on our CNC machines, and is assembled and delivered.
Our aviation ground support equipment, the Altitude 1250 fuel tank trailer and the shock tube production line frames, were built this way. We apply the same approach to a single machine chassis.
Welded chassis and tankWhat do we produce?
Any welded structure made of profiles, sheet and tube; depending on the project, we can also do the design.
Machine chassis and frames
Welded steel chassis for production machines, test equipment and robot platforms. Bearing surfaces, bearing seats and mounting holes are machined after welding, so the machine sits true at first installation.
Trailers and vehicle-mounted equipment
Fuel trailers, ground support equipment trailers and vehicle-mounted carrier structures; delivered assembled with axle, brake and towing systems.
Tank and vessel bodies
Fuel transfer tanks and liquid storage tanks: sheet metal development, welding, leak testing and preparation for painting. Pump, filter and measurement equipment fitted if required.
Steel structures and platforms
Production line supports, working platforms, stairs and railings, equipment bases and protective cages.
Fixtures and welding jigs
Clamping fixtures and inspection gauges for series welding work; we build for you the same set-ups we use in our own work.
Stainless steel fabrication
Stainless steel bodies and hoppers for food and medical machinery. Our patented çiğ köfte pressing machine is built in our factory with an all-stainless-steel body.
Production machine with a welded framePost-weld machining: the machine sets the dimension, not the weld
Welding heat distorts every structure to some degree. That is why we machine surfaces that need dimensional accuracy after welding: motor and gearbox mounting faces, slide ways, shaft and bearing axes are finished in a single set-up on our CNC machining centres, including 5-axis. The positional tolerances on the drawing are thus entrusted to the machine, not to the welding workmanship.
Weld seams undergo visual inspection; if required, penetrant testing (PT) is carried out by our approved supplier and the report is added to the shipment file. Surface treatments such as painting, galvanising and shot blasting are managed in the same way.
The welded fabrication process from project to delivery
Every job is opened with a work order in our integrated digital manufacturing system; every step from material certificate to final inspection is tied to that work order.
Quotation
Technical drawing, 3D model or sketch; quantity and deadline.
Design
Manufacturing drawings and sheet metal developments are prepared where needed.
Cutting & preparation
Profiles and sheets are cut and weld edges prepared.
Welding
Tack welding in the fixture, then MIG/MAG welding.
Machining
Precision surfaces are CNC machined and inspected.
Assembly & delivery
Surface treatment, assembly and shipment with documentation.
Certified material, traceable production
We work with structural steels (S235, S355), quenched and tempered steels and stainless steel profiles and sheets. Material is recorded against the work order with its heat number; at delivery we can show which weld was made on which material.
- EN 10204 3.1 material certificate on request
- Measurement report for surfaces machined after welding
- Leak test record for tanks and storage vessels
- Penetrant, paint and galvanising reports from approved suppliers
- Certificate of Conformity (CoC) with every shipment

About welded fabrication in Ankara
What should I send for a welded fabrication quotation?
A technical drawing or 3D model is best; if you have neither, we can start from a dimensioned sketch and photos. Add the quantity, your material preference (e.g. S235, S355, stainless) and any surface treatment you want (paint, galvanising). You can use the contact form, e-mail (info@yukselgrup.com.tr) or WhatsApp.
Which welding processes do you use?
We use MIG/MAG welding for steel structures and chassis work. MIG/MAG welding is also applied to stainless steel bodies and hoppers; we agree the right process for your project together at the quotation stage.
Do you machine after welding?
Yes, this is our greatest strength in welded fabrication. The bearing, flange and mounting surfaces of the welded body are machined on our 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining centres and the dimensions are verified on the CMM. For details, see our CNC machining in Ankara page.
How large a structure can you build?
Our factory produces structures up to trailer and tank size; the Altitude 1250 trailer and the shock tube production line frames are examples. Very large structures can be fabricated in sections and assembled on site. Share the dimensions and weight and we'll assess feasibility together.
Are painting and galvanising included?
They are optional. Shot blasting, primer and top-coat painting and hot-dip galvanising are carried out by our approved suppliers and delivered with their reports. We show them as a separate item in the quotation.
Can I order a single chassis or tank?
Yes. Even a single unit is produced under the same work order system; if you move to series production, lead times shorten because the fixtures and programmes are already in place.
Where in Ankara is your factory?
